At All Seasons Greens we have been building putting greens since 1997 throughout Oregon and Washington. We have the experience to help you design the green of your dreams and the expertise to build it. We received our training from Southwest Putting Greens in Scottsdale, Arizona. Southwest Putting Greens builds over 300 putting greens a year and are constantly researching how to improve the product and installation techniques to insure that you get the finest green available today.

Don't golf? Our synthetic turfs are great for replacing your soaky, messy lawn with a dry, clean surface that can be used year-around. Kids or animals? Don't worry, our turf is virtually indestructible and can be used just like a natural grass yard. We even have a extra long, cushioned turf that is great for the big toy area as a replacement for chips or grass.

PRODUCT

The following provides an overview of the steps and materials we use to build a putting green:

  1. The area surrounding the putting green site (pools, gardens, etc.) is protected from installation activity and debris.
  2. Have area cleared.
  3. A base of two types of gravel is built up to provide water drainage. It is then compacted to form the contour and slope of the green.
  4. Cups are then installed at the desired locations.
  5. A pad is then installed to give the feel of a real putting green and make the green more receptive to chip shots.
  6. The synthetic turf is then installed and is filled with a couple types of silica sand. We use 1 3/8-inch turf, the longest in the industry, to insure durability and a true, consistent roll.
  7. We then top-dress the green with colored silica to give it the color of natural grass.
  8. We then roll the green to create the desired speed using a stimp meter.
  9. Flags are installed in the cups, the site is thoroughly cleaned up, and the green is ready to be used. Enjoy!
